You know when you have watched too many kids movies when you start to quote them more than anything else. (FYI think Incredibles)
Anyway to a subject that is totally different. Today we had our Stake Conference and yesterday we had our adult meeting. So what so special about that you say? Well our stake presidency was released and a new presidency was sustained, therefore 2 general authorities came to preside over the meeting. Elder Marlin K. Jensen of the First Presidency of the Seventy and Elder Ronald J. Hammond our Area Seventy. The story is 10 1/2 years ago I was at a stake conference in Green River and Elder Hammond was presiding at that meeting. For some reason he was moved to ask me to come up and share my testimony with our stake. At our adult meeting last night I didn't recognize his name, but as soon as I saw him it hit me that he was that man. I talked with him for a short while after our stake meeting today just to make sure that I had the right guy and I was surprised that he even remembered. So, anyway it was a moment that was special to me and I'm amazed at how things come full circle; how things worked out, and the Lord worked with my life to give me the opportunity to talk to him again.

No, I didn't fall off the face of the Earth
Ok, So, I'm a really, really bad blogger. In my defense I haven't had a (good) computer since February. No offense mom and dad. I just need some software that I can do the backgrounds and fun stuff with.
So, anyway on with the goods.
A lot has happened in the past 6 months. We'll start where we left off.
April: This month was big for Logan. He turned the big 01. We had a small thing with Lu-Lar at our house. Mommy made him a white cake with chocolate mousse frosting. He really enjoyed his cake.

May: We just took it easy. I went to see my mom and dad for a week. After the trip we (my sisters with spouses, brother, mom, and dad) went to see the Hawkins' at their daughter Jennie's wedding reception. The next day we (now including Marc) went to do endowments and initiatory sessions at the Bountiful temple for some family names my Grandma Hunter researched. That was really neat. I think it was the first time all of us were in the temple together since Erin was married 3 years ago. Oh, and we got a larger vehicle to fit our growing family.
June: We headed up north to Coeur D'Alene to see Grandma and Grandpa Dunn, Doug, Mar, and Allie. We had a really great time. They have a really large park by the lake that the little ones played at. Here's a slide show of the pictures.
July: This is a big month for the Green Family. There are a lot of birthdays to be had here. We celebrated Marc's Birthday on the 9th. Grant's on the 16th. Plus both my mom and Marc's dad have July Birthdays. This was the first year that we had a big party for Grant. We invited some of his friends from church and from preschool. We filled our kiddie pool up and put out the bean bag toss. To be honest I think they liked the pool the best. Grant asked for a McQueen Cake this year so I acquiesced to his request.

February: My last post was February 4th little did I know that 5 days later I would no longer be employed. That's ok, I was only working part time. I just look at it as a tough decision (financially) to be a SAHM was made for me. To be honest I it was a blessing. I'm really loving it too. Yeah, some days get to be difficult, but nothing is better than being with the boys, including Marc. They said they'd call me when they needed me, but I'm not banking that will be anytime soon with the economy the way it is.
March: Not that this is really important, but I celebrated my um...... wait ... hold on .... ok yeah my 26th birthday. Sorry, but to be honest after about 21 you stop keeping count. Maybe because it's crappy to be getting closer to 30. (Sorry Jamie and Mattie). - Sorry Dad I forgot to mention that you and I share March as our birthday month. Yea dad!
