1 Embarrassing Moment: Gross warning- when a bunch or friends were at Scott Wall's house for a party and I had eaten a lot of snacks and Ernie Evans decides it would be funny to pick me up upside down and spin me around in circles. I ended up puking the entire contents of my stomach onto the floor. Not sick puking just puking by centrifugal force.

2 best friends: Marc and My Mom

3 things I buy regularly: Milk, cereal, baby food

4 places I want to go: on a vacation; anywhere, Sydney, Australia, St, Thomas, and Switzerland (for the Chocolate)

5 goals for the upcoming year: Catch up and stay caught up with Logan's baby calendar, Budget finances better, take more pictures, keep my house tidier, and be better at having FHE.

6 things most people don't know about me: I like to play video games, I love sewing, I love to paint, I love math- especially calculus (yeah, weired), I really like CSI Miami and New York, One of my biggest pet peeves is shopping carts left in the parking lot.

7 things I would never say: Um.. There are lots of things I'd never say like I hate dessert, I like spiders, I LOVE doing laundry, Pick some other obvious things.

8 things I love about the Christmas season: Lights, family, Games, Sweets, The Christmas Story, People doing good things, Grant excited about his presents (logan isn't there yet, Giving a gift that person didn't expect.

Every day I get a Cow and Boy comic strip by Mark Leiknes in my email box from comics.com. I love this strip, this kid is friends with his "pet" cow and they do some pretty strange, but funny things. Here some of my favorites for your enjoyment.

Ok, so I'm trying the "tag" thing like my SIL Mar. I don't have my pictures set up like her, but we'll just pick a number between 1 and 961 cause that's how many pictures I have. I really don't have any incriminating pictures, so here goes. Picutre 379, come on down.

Ok, this is it. Grant in our laundry hamper. He still likes playing in this thing!

Last Winter

Marc and I have been trying to predict how this winter will turn out. Hopefully this winter is a little better than last year's. Last year was bitter cold and the snow that did fall drifted everywhere. We actually were snowed in and out a couple times. We ended up staying at his parents house for a week before the county came and plowed the road and we could get back in. We took these photos the day that we were able to get back in.

That wall of snow is about 15 feet tall.

Marc thought it would give better perspective to have Grant on top of the huge pile of snow.

These are the mountains looking north toward Sun Valley. I love the snow, but I really hate the cold that comes with it.

Grants Third Birthday

I kinda slacked off and didn't post much about this summer, so I'll do a little catching up.

Grant turned three on July 16th. It seems like he grew up way too fast! I look at all his pictures and stuff and wonder where my little Baby G went! So here are some pictures of him from birth to now!

Brand Spankin' New

So here's a list of new things that have happened recently:

1. I got a new calling in church. I used to be the Primary Music Leader, but considering I had Logan and was out for about a month they needed to release me. So, I'm now the Ward Bulletin and Newsletter Coordinator. I'm so excited. I get to play around with clip art and I don't have to worry about keeping 40 little kids on task! I loved being in music and everything, but after 3 years of being in primary I was ready for something new. Any advice is very welcome!

2. We got a new Weber Grill FOR FREE!!!!!!! I guess I shouldn't say for free, but it practically is. Marc calls me from work one day and says I think we just got ourselves a barbecue. I asked why. He says a micro burst just picked up this grill off of the patio in front of the store and threw it into a Expedition in the parking lot. Marc says it takes about 30-40 minutes to assemble one of these and it was disassembled in less than 3 minutes, as you can see from the pictures. Marc just has to put it back together. The reason it isn't "free" is because the store had to pay for part of the grill insurance wouldn't pick up. Oh, and the Expedition was fine; not a scratch.

3. I finally finished my quilt for Logan. I started it over a month ago. It isn't that it was hard, it's just that I would get in the mode and sew, then get tired of sewing and quit for a week. I really like it. My next project: a really cute handbag pattern I found. I think I might make a bunch and sell them at the hardware store.

4.Grant has been really funny lately by making up these silly songs about stuff around the house. He loves our neighbor Don. For those of you who don't know we live out in the boonies, and Don has tractors, fourwheelers, and other large equipment (like a steamroller). Don will take Grant out for rides and Grant LOVES it! Anyway, I got a video of Grant singing his songs about Don on the road and dad playing with Pixie (our dog). It is pretty self explanitory.

5. I got a $2.75 raise at work! WHA HOO!

6. Little Logan is doing great! He stalled out on gaining weight so the doc told me to supplement his diet. I've only been supplementing for a few days now and he already feels heavier. He rolls everywhere and will jabber your ear off! I attached his toy mirror to his bouncy car and he'll sit and scream and talk to himself.

So that's about it. Hopefully I'll get back into blogging now that my mind isn't so scattered with everything going on.

Our Vacation

OK , so last May Marc, Grant, Logan, and I took a week and went to see both his grandparents. The thing with seeing his Grandparents is G & G Green live up in Silverdale, Wa and G & G Dunn live in Coeur D'Alene, Id. So, needless to say we had quite the drive ahead of us. We left here Sunday morning and planned on driving to Portland, Or. Marc's Uncle Jim manages an Embassy Suites there and we could stay the night there and head on to Silverdale the next day.

Well, after 12 hours of driving we finally got to Portland. (we left home @ 9:00 am and get there after 9:00 pm.) It really shouldn't take that long, but with a newborn you have to do that stopping every time he needs to eat. I was really excited because I have never been to Oregon before, and I got to see a lot of it. Two interesting facts about Oregon: The interstate speed limit is only 65 mph (1/2 the reason it took so long to get to Portland), and you can't pump your own gas. Yes, that is correct, it is a state law that you can't pump your own gas.

Anyway on to Silverdale. We made a quick stop in Vancouver at Marc's Aunt Dede's book store. (She is Jim's wife if you didn't make that connection). The rest of the trip to Siverdale wasn't as bad as the drive to Portland. This one only took us about 6-7 hours. This part was also neat because I have never been to Washington either. OK, so side tracking a little, in my structural engineering course @ UW we watched a video on "Galloping Gertie". Galloping Gertie was the Tacoma Narrows bridge that collapsed in 1940 due to some poor structural engineering. Anyway it was really neat for me to see the bridge that we learned about in my class.

So back to the vacation. Tuesday we went with Marc's other Uncle Jim (on the Green's side) on a ferry from Bremerton to Seattle. We walked around the docks for a little bit and went up to the famous Pike Place Market. We didn't have time to go to the Space Needle, but I'm sure we'll be in Seattle again. That night we had a action packed game of hand and foot. G & G kicked our trash. Marc and I didn't do very well.Wednesday we hung around with grandma and grandpa and looked around Silverdale. That night Marc's Uncle Jim, and Aunt Anita came over for dinner with some of their kids. I was a little bummed because Uncle Bill couldn't come and he is the only one out of the 7 Aunts and uncles I haven't met yet.

We left Silverdale Thursday morning and drove to Coeur D'Alene, that took about another 6-7 hours. So I got to see more of Washington. There was even a ski resort still open with at least 3-5 feet of snow on the ground! We drove through Spokane and saw where Doug and Mar are moving to in July. Then, finally back to Idaho. We spent Thursday evening @ G & G Dunn's house. Friday we headed up to Lake Pend Oreille ( yeah another french name). They have a time share at Pondoray Shores resort. We went fishing, swimming, and walked around the lake.

I guess we had to come home sooner or later. Sunday we left for Lewiston so we could break up the trip home. The drive home is amazing. There are 2 huge grade drops one as you come into Lewiston and another before you get to Riggins. So ,there you go. I actually did the math and we were in the car driving almost the same amount of time that we were not.

Oh and one last thing Congrats to Uncle Jim and Aunt Ann for their mission call to Sydney, Australia! We'll miss you!

Whoa! I'm a slacker!

I predicted this would happen! Well, A LOT has changed since my last post. Marc and I have another boy now. Logan Hunter Green was born on April 9 at 4:04 pm, weighed 7# 3oz, and was 20 inches long. I was hoping for a girl, but I realized that Grant really needs a little brother to play with. He is a little pudge. It is amazing how he is packing on the pounds.

I'm now working part time at Power Engineers so I can spend more time with Grant and Logan. Grant will turn 3 in July and he is getting his own personality that sometimes is a little difficult.

Marc painted our living room, dining room and kitchen and put some chair rail up so our house looks a lot better now. The exsiting paint when we bought the house didn't do it justice.
